Work towards doing some exercise 5 days a week spacing out your rest days. Use as much variety as possible and whilst steadily increasing the amount and intensity don't feel the need to follow a pattern. I use swimming, walk different routes and venues, cycle indoor and out, use the gym, and weights. However others may prefer badminton, a spin class, an exercise DVD or water aerobics etc. I wake up see what mood I’m in and what time I’ve got and chose the form of exercise I fancy that fits.
