This week I have continued to push hard on the exercise front. Monday I took a day off as I was shattered and feeling the pace. Tuesday I returned to the windows having had three weeks off. I did ok but by 4pm my arms were hanging out of me and my back was painful. I was concerned at the time but a few hours later I was feeling grand and able to do a set of weights with Jamie and Wilson. Wednesday saw me hill walking with Wilson as discussed in the previous item. Thursday I spent an hour on my exercise bike, this the longest session yet by 20 minutes and in the evening I again did some weights with Jamie. Friday saw me swim 32 lengths (half a mile). Today I’m unsure what I’ll do, maybe a day of rest is called for.
Diet wise things have been good but I get the sense that whilst my body is changing shape and clothes seem to be fitting better this week may see my weight loss tail off and plateau. This happens every now and then and is to be expected however it can have an influence on motivation levels. The key is to stay focused on my goal of being below 20 stone for Christmas.
