Hi Pete,I know exactly where you're coming from!What I found helpful was to allow myself 2/3 weeks to do whatever I wanted - eat what I wanted without examining the contents, exercise/not exercise if I felt like it, just a couple of weeks of being 'free'.I'd set myself a date when I would start afresh and once that date came, I would weigh myself (didn't do it during the 'break') and then I'd start my diet and exercise regime all over again.During the 7 weeks I had a break, I put on 7lbs but within 3 weeks it was off again and I feel this break was well worth it, I needed it!Hope this helps Pete, it's not easy to reprogramme years of bad habits but you've proven you can do it so stick at it and you'll get there!Michelle
