I’ve decided that on the last day of every month I will record my measurements. Honestly the lengths I go to to make weight loss interesting! For anyone else it would be enough to consider the long term health benefits, but not for me. Strange as it may seem my right upper arm is a full inch bigger than my left one and the same for my right thigh over my left.
Neck = 18 inches
Upper arm = 15.5 inches (right)
Fore arm = 12 inches (right)
Chest = 53 inches
Stomach = 59 inches
Waist = 50 inches
Thigh = 29 inches (right)
Calf = 19inches (right)
Are you shocked? To be honest and I know this sounds defensive, but these figures mean little to me other than the desire I have to see them decrease.
On the exercise front good progress is being made with a 40 minute walk yesterday and swimming today in Banbridge Swimming Pool of 20 lengths. I suppose if I’m being honest I’m allowing my inner voice to cast doubt on these achievements and question how long this new found motivation will last. The voice isn’t helpful and my response will be to counterbalance it with a positive thought on how well I’ve begun this process. Strange as it may seem my biggest enemy would appear to be my mind.
